Nursing Program
Inova provides a Nurse Residency Program for all new graduate nurses starting their career. This 1-year program, meeting monthly for four hours in a cohort setting, provides for educational and emotional support as new graduate nurses transition from being a student to the role of the professional nurse. The monthly meetings provide a safe environment for the necessary learning and transitions, focusing on time management, communication, dealing with stress, conflict management, as well as working with complex clinical scenarios. The residency also provide additional training in evidence-based nursing practice and provides an opportunity for learners to apply the principles of EBP to unit-based issues and provide solutions to real-time identified problems.
Interventional Radiology Technologist Training Program
Inova's Interventional Radiology Technologist Training Program offers hands-on training, a didactic lecture series, a skills lab and vascular interventional radiology (IR) board preparation for radiology technologists interested in pursuing advanced certification and a career in IR.

Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Inova’s Pharmacy Technician Training Program offers hands-on experiential training, a lecture series and Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam preparation for individuals interested in pursuing an entry-level career in pharmacy.
- No pharmacy experience or licensure is required – minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED.
- Earn while you learn – enjoy full-time benefits and pay during your training.
- Continue your career as a full-time pharmacy technician 1 at an Inova hospital, retail or specialty pharmacy upon completion of the program and PTCB certification.
